Evolving Practice is a project run by the Scottish Health Council. The Scottish Health Council ensure that views and opinions held by patients, carers and the public are taken into account by the NHS.
Requirement
Etellect were tasked with providing the Scottish Health Council with a web portal. The portal would allow health professionals to submit case studies to be shared with fellow professionals and the public.
The solution had to comply with accessibility standards and had to be accessible from a mobile device.
Solution
Etellect developed a web based portal, designed to the Scottish Health Council’s requirements. Those wishing to submit content are taken through a brief registration process where they will be given a secure username and password. This allows them to access the portal submission area, where they can provide case studies and feedback.
The site is fully content managed, making it easy to update and control. Further to this SHC opted for Etellect’s Online Communication Solution. This enables SHC to deliver customised emails for marketing and membership management.
The site is fully compliant with accessibility standards, as well as being accessible from a mobile device.
